Hi just started spinning classes twice a week and I just want to know how effective they are at burning calories and building fitness. I used to be a runner but had to stop because of ITBS so spinning is low-impact for me but I'm concerned that it will bulk my legs up (when I actually want to slim them down!) as I heard it shortens your muscles...?? I also do pilates twice a week as well as a gym session of cross-trainer, rower and power plates. So, do you love spinning???
