From best to worst -

Treadmill
Elliptical
Bicycle

It makes sense because treadmill you are running freely. The elliptical there's still some sort of assistance. The bike, you're sitting on your butt.

I think they're all about the same, it mostly depends on your preference. One may burn more calories than another, but for improving overall fitness it's the amount of time and effort you put into the exercise more than the specific exercise itself. An hour walking at 3 miles per hour is going to give you better results than biking 20 miles per hour for five minutes.

!st. every equipment most be used for your needs, for example to gain muscle mass, to keep just sahped and toned to lose wiehgt, etc. Something else you should do is to have a complete phisical test to determen your body's fat % and to make an exercise rutine based on that and your high, weigh, and bone complexion, if your bones are wide or thin, etc. Also besides that and after the phisical go to a nutricionst for a proper diet based on your real needs, also muscle exercises most be combine with the right cardio rutine. Always, before to start any rutine get a doctor's or a personal trainer's opinion. Is hard to give opinions in here without knowing the person and without knowing the results of a phisical test and the opnion of a health professional. Good luck.
